Our square dance club, Boots and Bows, gets together many times throughout the year other than actual dancing.  Over twenty of us, along with our guests, enjoyed a beautiful day at our annual club picnic overlooking the ocean at Point Vicente Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.  Rather than barbecuing this time, we brought our own prepared lunches, arranged our outdoor chairs in a circle and shared interesting stories with one another.  Our club provided water, chips and cookies!  The weather was perfect so some of us walked along the winding dirt path.  It’s times like these where we get to know each other and lasting friendships have formed.
